Return, Refund & Replacement Policy

At Mycarkits, we request all customers to carefully check the product images, key shape, button layout, and compatibility details before placing an order.

Car keys may look different depending on the car model, variant, and manufacturing year. To avoid mismatch, please compare your original car key with the product image shown on our website before ordering.

Wrong Order Placed by Customer

Our store provides clear product photos and key images for different car brands and key types. Customers are required to match their original car key with the key cover shown on our website before placing an order.

If a customer places an order without comparing the key properly, the following process will apply:

Step 1

You must contact our Customer Care team within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Step 2

Please share the following details with us:

  • Order ID number

  • Photo of your original car key

  • Photo of the key cover you received

  • Clear photo/video showing the mismatch

Step 3

You will need to send the received key cover to our return address:

Once the returned product reaches us and passes quality verification, we will send the correct key cover replacement.

A courier/re-shipping charge of ₹150 will need to be paid by the customer for the replacement key cover.

If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, the refund will be processed after we receive and verify the returned key cover. A deduction of ₹200 will apply towards shipping, handling, and processing charges.

If We Send the Wrong Product

If you receive the wrong product from our side, please follow the steps below:

Step 1

Contact our Customer Care team within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Step 2

Please share the following details:

  • Order ID number

  • Photo of your original car key

  • Photo of the key cover you received

  • Unboxing video, if available

After Verification

Once the issue is verified:

  • We will arrange a return pickup for the wrong product, wherever courier pickup is available.

  • Once the item is picked up or verified, we will ship the correct key cover to you.

  • If pickup is not available in your location, our team will guide you with the return process.

If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, the refund will be processed after pickup/return verification. Courier or handling charges may be deducted where applicable.

Replacement for Damaged Product

Replacement will be considered only if:

  • The product is damaged during transit

  • The wrong product is received

  • The product has a manufacturing defect

The buyer must provide valid proof by sending an unboxing video within 48 hours of product delivery.

If the unboxing video is not provided within 48 hours, the product will be considered delivered in good condition.

Cancellations & Refused Deliveries

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before shipping.

Once an order is shipped, cancellation may not be possible.

If an order is cancelled after shipping or if delivery is refused by the customer, it will be treated as a return, and shipping/handling charges may apply.

Non-Returnable Products

The following products are not eligible for return, except in case of manufacturing defects or errors from our side:

  • Items not in original packaging

  • Items with missing parts, hardware, tools, or accessories

  • Items that have been installed, used, scratched, bent, painted, damaged, or altered

  • Custom-made or personalized products

  • Products with name, logo, monogram, engraving, or embroidery

  • Special order products

  • Products damaged due to misuse, rough handling, improper installation, or customer negligence

  • Products returned after the allowed return period

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method, UPI, bank account, or store credit, depending on the payment mode and case.

Refund processing may take 5–7 business days after approval.

For COD orders, customers may need to share valid bank or UPI details for refund processing.
