Return & Refund Policy

At MyCarKits, we want every customer to receive the right product in good condition. Please read our Return, Refund and Replacement Policy carefully before placing an order.

Wrong Order Placed by Customer

Our website provides clear product photos and details for different car key covers and accessories. Before placing an order, customers must compare their original car key with the product shown on our website.

If a customer places an order without properly checking the key design, the following process will apply:

Step 1

You must contact our Customer Care within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Step 2

Please share the following details:

  • Order ID number

  • Photo of your original car key

  • Photo of the key cover or product received

Step 3

You will need to send the received product back to our return address:

The full return address will be shared by our support team after approval.

Once the returned product reaches us, we will dispatch the correct replacement product.

A courier charge of ₹150 will need to be paid by the customer for the replacement shipment.

If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, the refund will be processed only after we receive the returned product. A deduction of ₹200 will be applied towards shipping and handling charges.

If We Send the Wrong Product

If you receive a wrong product from our side, please follow the process below:

Step 1

Contact our Customer Care within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Step 2

Please share the following details:

  • Order ID number

  • Photo of your original car key

  • Photo of the product received

After verification:

  • We will arrange a return pickup for the wrong product, wherever serviceable.

  • Once the pickup is completed, we will ship the correct product to you.

  • If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, the refund will be processed after pickup verification.

In case a return pickup is not available in your location, our team will guide you with the return shipping process.

Replacement for Damaged Product

Replacement will be considered only if:

  • The product is damaged during transit, or

  • The wrong product is received, or

  • The product has a manufacturing defect.

To claim a replacement, the customer must provide a clear unboxing video within 48 hours of product delivery.

The unboxing video must clearly show:

  • The sealed package before opening

  • The shipping label

  • The product condition after opening

  • The damaged or wrong product clearly visible

If the unboxing video is not provided within 48 hours, the product will be considered delivered in good condition.

Cancellations & Refused Deliveries

Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are shipped.

Once the order has been shipped, cancellation may not be possible. If the order is cancelled after shipping or the delivery is refused by the customer, it will be treated as a return, and shipping charges will apply.

In such cases, the refund will be processed only after the product is returned to us and verified.

Non-Returnable Products

The following items are not eligible for return, except in case of manufacturing defects or mistakes from our side:

  • Products not in original packaging

  • Products with missing parts, accessories or instructions

  • Products that have been used, scratched, damaged, altered or installed

  • Custom-made or personalised products

  • Items with name, monogram or custom design

  • Special order products

  • Products damaged due to misuse, rough handling or improper installation

  • Products returned without approval from our support team

Refund Processing

Once the returned product is received and verified, the refund will be processed to the original payment method or any other method approved by our support team.

Refund processing time may vary depending on the payment provider, bank or payment gateway.

Shipping charges, COD charges, handling fees or return courier charges may be deducted where applicable.
